Description
Seiris Metal Expansion Joints are customised according to the following constraints: Temperature up to 1200 °C
Pressure up to 70 bar
Diameter dimensions from 15 to 7000
We manufacture various types of:
● Circular Expansion Joints: axial, lateral, hinged, pressure balanced.
● Rectangular Expansion Joints: V and U
● Simple convolution
Pumped fluid: all types (acidic or strong bases when we reach the dew point): in order to adapt our products to various conditions, we use the following steels:
304 -304L-316-316L-321-309-310-253 MA-904L-317L, as well as all types of INCONEL and HASTELLOY

Fabrication of Metal Expansion Joints
At Seiris, we specialise in the design and manufacture of high-performance Metal Expansion Joints designed to meet the requirements of industrial applications. Our compensators are available in a wide range of configurations, including circular, rectangular, articulated, single or multiple bellows, and can be customised to absorb axial, lateral and angular movements, as well as to compensate for thermal expansion, vibrations and pressure fluctuations.
We work with stainless steels, nickel alloys and other high-quality materials to ensure durability and resistance to temperature, pressure and corrosive environments. Each expansion joint is designed in accordance with international standards (such as EJMA and PED) and can be optimised for specific operating conditions, including pressure ratings, movement cycles and space constraints.

Complete solutions for Metal Expansion Joints
Single-convolution bellows: Ideal for applications requiring limited movement and resistance to higher pressures, single-fold joints are compact and offer excellent strength while absorbing small axial or lateral movements.
Multiple convolution bellows: Designed to offer greater flexibility and better movement absorption, multiple convolute joints can accommodate greater axial, lateral and angular movements, making them suitable for systems subject to thermal expansion or significant vibration.

Key Benefits:
- Thermal expansion absorption – Compensates for temperature-induced movement in piping and equipment.
- Vibration and noise reduction – Dampens mechanical vibrations and minimises operating noise.
- Pressure and vacuum resistance – Withstands high internal pressures and vacuum conditions.
- Compact design – Compensates for movement without requiring a large installation space.
- Corrosion and fatigue resistance – Manufactured from stainless steel or special alloys for durability in harsh environments.
- Reduced maintenance – Extends equipment life and minimises the need for frequent repairs.
Standards:
Metal Expansion Joints are manufactured in accordance with international standards to ensure safety, reliability and performance:
● EJMA – Design and performance guidelines for bellows.
● ASME Section VIII – Design and fabrication of pressure vessels.
● PED 2014/68/EU – European conformity of pressure equipment.
● ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 – Quality and environmental management.
● ASTM / ANSI – Material specifications and testing.
● DIN / EN – Design, testing and installation standards.
